Water treatment describes those industrial-scale processes used to make water more acceptable for a desired end-use. These can include use for drinking water, industry, medical and many other uses. The last 20 years have witnessed a growing awareness of the fragile state of most of the planets drinking water resources. In order to cope with the growing population of our hydrosphere, educational and legislative programs are being implemented and two main strategies of water treatment begin to applied: 1. Chemical treatment of polluted drinking water and surface water and ground water 2. chemical treatment of waste water contacting biocidal or nonbiodegradable components.

This group is dedicated to discuss about all the existing water treatment process and the new one under development. Also we can serve as a catalyst to people who wants to know more about the water treatment methods and its applications.
