World Toilet Day

19 November 2010 is World Toilet Day -a global day to raise awareness of the global sanitation crisis. 4,000 children die every day from diarrhoea caused by dirty water and poor sanitation.

* One gram of faeces can contain 10 million viruses, one million bacteria (including cholera), 1,000 parasite cysts and 100 parasite eggs
