Bio: Charles Aondoaseer Hemba Charles Aondoaseer Hemba is a Zonal Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Consultant working with UNICEF ā€˜Dā€™ Field in Nigeria, Country Representative for International Organisation for Collaborative Outcome Management (IOCOM) and is also the Managing Partner of JEDACH Development Partners Limited (www.jedachdevelopmentpartnersltd.org). He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics/Statistics from the University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria and a M.Sc. Development Studies from the Benue State University, Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria and the topic of his thesis was the Contribution of the DFID WASH Programme to Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State. Charles Aondoaseer Hemba has been deeply involved in development in Nigeria spanning a lot of sectors like health, education, social development, HIV/AIDS, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in many respects including the conduction of baseline surveys, mapping of facilities using the GPS and rendering using the GIS software. He has been responsible for the supply of potable water and safe sanitation to many rural populations of Nigerian spanning a lot of States. He has trained various stakeholders on various aspects of Monitoring and Evaluation including Result based monitoring, evidence based monitoring, HIV/AIDS etc through workshops, field work and supportive supervision. He has also facilitated the putting in place frameworks for monitoring and evaluation of WASH activities in Bauchi and Jigawa States and is presently facilitating the operationalization of the frameworks in the various States while planning on replicating the process in the remaining eight (8) States within the purview of the UNICEF field office. He is knowledgeable in many aspects of programming and programme management, human resource management, designing of surveys, collection and analysis of data for programme implementation and a vast knowledge of software. Charles Aondoaseer Hemba has been involved in some consultancies, he was the team leader for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) evaluation for Sokoto State in 2011, conducted the Situation Analysis in Human Resource for Health (HRH) in 2013 as the State Consultant for CapacityPlus (USAID Project). He also facilitated the Local Development Plan Initiative for Enugu State, Investment Plan establishment for Benue State.
