Through a college assignment, I need to research on virtual water and viral marketing. What is the commection between virtual water and viral marketing? Where do they fit in Business Administration? Please advise if you know more on this subject. From what I have read it is very interesting.

Selling such a product through viral marketing successfully may depend on how "hip" and "now" the product (or lack thereof) is.

Awareness and understanding
Dear Hellen,
Virtual water is a new way to make clear the impact of choices that we make as to purchases and consumption of food and stuff. The concept is relatively new and not easy to calculate or make visible, after all , it is virtual.
The challenge is to bring awareness and understanding in an easy to understand way to the population at large. It may be difficult to separate spin from fact in an emerging field where standards are being established and to validate claims and indentify inconsistencies.
