ACTEW Corporation Limited (ACTEW) is a company wholly owned by the ACT Government with assets and investments in water, sewerage, electricity, gas and telecommunications. ACTEW operates a joint-venture public private partnership with AGL, ActewAGL.
ACTEW is a 50 per cent owner of ActewAGL, a multi-utility providing electricity, natural gas, internet, water and wastewater services. ACTEW contracts ActewAGL to handle all water and wastewater operations. ACTEW owns the water and sewerage network, storages and treatment infrastructure and associated water and wastewater assets in the ACT.
